SETI@home scheduler is down until further notice.
(Message 1311615)
Posted 6 Dec 2012 by Ronald R CODNEY Post: Just picked up 80 lost tasks, in 4 groups of 20. Most going back to mid-October. So, looks like some catching up happening....slowly but surely. Tis a shame that Einstein may be right...we CANNOT go as fast as the speed of light. Bit of kibbles better than water alone. |

The 84 cents a month fundraiser.
(Message 1311232)
Posted 29 Nov 2012 by Ronald R CODNEY Post: Bernie: I just looked at the donation history - http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/donation_history.php I think it is such a shame that only 0.28 percent of all volunteers have donated to help. Less than one percent... Seems that if there are those that can afford these mega-crunchers, they could help us out a bit to strengthen the S@H manpower end financially. Doesn't have to be a big number, a small number by a big number of donors would be so fantastic. Matt: Thanks for your pursuits. I can hear the kitties meowing! |
