Restarted computer. Downloaded 4.45 again. Reinstalled 4.45 and setup as per instructions. Checked SETI@home was up and running. Started 4.45 and configured. Awaited download, and started crunching. Once again thanks for the help.

4) Questions and Answers : Windows : FED UP WITH STUPID BOINC (Message 180268) Posted 20 Oct 2005 by crabby Post: I have upgraded to latest BOINC as BOINC requested, I have followed all the guides, I have a SETI account, I have obtained a new key and used it, I have used the SETI url, I have re-installed BOINC several times, SO WHY DOES THIS STUPID PROGRAM STILL NOT WORK? I have trawled the help files and forums for several days and it seems that alot of people have the same problem. I have used the old seti for a long time successfully and a previous BOINC aswell, however this one (4.45) does not work. Can you please fix it or revert back to one that we all are able to use, or if it is something we people not in the know do not understand.
