Strange, cookies are enabled, didn't solve the problem. Two days before I was confronted with this problems I had no problem to control my account using BOINC (which was opening the correct page using firefox). I was able to see that BOINC was using my correct account ID for all the webpages. And it is not every part of information that is not available for me. As I wrote: using the same ID (by BOINC) some pages opens and some pages want a log-in, but there they don't accept any correct data (email+pw/User-ID)......

2) Questions and Answers : Windows : Strange problems with my account (Message 632809) Posted 3 Sep 2007 by Christian Noll Post: I just used the online help...no idea to solve my problem: short description: I'm using 2 PCs at the same time: PC1: Seti@home and Einstein@home PC 2: only Seti@home both PCs don't use MS firewall, on both PCs I'm using Windows XP prof. with latest patches, same AV-programs, both are connected to the internet by a correctly configurated router PC1: Logging into my account no problem either manually on the webpage or via BOINC PC2: to log in I'm using the BOINC manager menu- projects - webpages: If I will look at my account(address: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_user.php?userid=86****), Firefox opens: webpage shows me my account data (short form) I will look to my preferences/account data long form (http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/home.php): webpage tells me to log in I will look to my results (http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?userid=86****) page tells me to log in I will look to my computers (http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/hosts_user.php?userid=86****) page shows my both PCs ...my team http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/team_display.php?teamid=103827) page shows my team NOW THE PROBLEM: on the pages I have to log in, first I used the correct email address and the CORRECT password - answer: invalid password than I inserted a little below on the log-in page my CORRECT account number (the same on the working pages), answer: Account not found Now I let Seti@home send me a new(special) password, I got this email, copied the special password they sent me into the clipboard, inserted it into the login form (using my email address), answer: wrong password Conclusion: I'm not able to log into my account on my second PC with all correct data (if I use them on my first PC not a single problem). I tried everything: shutting down the first PC, no change, restarting Firefox on 2.PC. no change, restarting BOINC on 2.PC, no change. The second strange thing: BOINC is able to send and receive WUs, and all the results/credits can be correctly found on my account (using PC 1), I'm able to find there all finished and not finished WUs of PC 2. I'm totally confused!!!! Is there somebody who might help me although this problem is not gigantic, because I still have access to my account using PC 1... but what happens if PC 1 will not work because of a crash or technical maintenance....
