well by the looks its back to normal because i've been getting some work :)

Glad, it seems to be working now....you've already completed a number of workunits and have been granted credit for them...:-)

The servers seem to be more or less back to normal, although there is still a slight shortage of work....so you may still see No Work from Project messages occasionally...

thats fine i also have rosetta@home:).

i still have a wu from my folding@home program which gives the cpu high temps so it will be the last 1 on this cpu.

Many of the BOINC projects also raise the temperature of the CPUs. If it is too high, you might want to open the case and blow the dust bunnies out. If this is not enough, you might want to invest in a better cooling solution than the stock cooler.

well 1 i do have another pc which will be for folding@home & on that i have 5 fans & the cpu is also water cooled & it runs at 10c-20c higher (thats just on its own) than if i was running seti & rosetta at the sametime

hi guys just wondering i've downloaded seti@home yesterday & in the transfer screen it says that progress is at zero & status all the files keep saying retry in what ever time each file is set at.

did i do something wrong? or is it just seti@home site just overwhelmed?

Welcome to SETI@Home,

The SETI servers have been stressed for the past week or so because a new application has been introduced.

Downloads are having a problem getting through, that's why you keep seeing the retry.

Hopefully in a few days things should be back to normal.

thanks for the welcome & i'm glad to know that i didn't do anything wrong :P & i'll just have to wait till it sorted :)
