A fellow on my team wanted me to post this question to you.

Since it is not an official "Marketplace-App"(where you can see, what data/ ressources the app can access before downloading),i don't like the idea of
possibly giving my account-details away to an app/stranger.
There are several apps(ringtones, wallpapers etc.)available, which want access to your
adressbook etc.,and i was wondering why and for what a ringtone-app needs access to that!!!!
I would prefer a CPID-solution...

Could you see about that? That is also one of my concerns. Thanks!

I can do authentication with account key, not CPID. Because I can get CPID only after I have account key. Account key gives me rights to get extended information, like user computers info and update some account fields. No one can restore password or email from account key, since it is MD5 hash of password and email, not a real ones.

If this is okay, this feature will be released in v1.1, I promise :) There was an idea to implement this authentication method in current release, but I decided, that not at least every 100-th user of all will prefer to draw 32 digits and letters abracadabra instead of normal name and password. And I think, there is no any reasons to collect BOINC users autentication data. This information is useless at all, due to volunteer specific of projects this kind. What valuable profit can I gain from your BOINC login and pass? :)

But, if user wants - he must get it.

About Android Market... Anyway, user can see all information about application requirements before the application installed to the device. There is no difference between official Android Market and my unofficial site. And an application size of 100kb is not a reason to great sorrow :)

ABStats will be at Android Market during May 2010. There is some difficulties to register and pay membership on Google Checkout from country, where I'am live, I can't setup this at Market emmidiately.

Thank you for your great help.

I haven't come across anything else yet, but still playing with it. Thanks again for a cool little app! :-)

Nice.

I think to integrate some time-interval based stats. I mean pretty grids-graphs, etc.

Is this feature would be useful?

I don't know how much more to explain, those fields just show the number 0

Sorry, I missed you told project names in previous post. English isn't my native language.

I've checked FreeHAL and it isn't returning fields, describing memory. ABStats showing default values instead. I will fix this at closest release.

Thank you, again :)

If it possible and not so hard, can you explain more detailed information about this faults?

Because of some BOINC projects using its own RPC mechanisms, there can be differences in request formats.

I have tested this app only on LHC and SETI, other projects may interacting with servers different ways.

Hi!

I've just created a small app for Android. It allows to see your BOINC accounts data on gadget.

Works not only for SETI@home. I have tested it on LHC@home too.

I'll be glad to see your comments here.
