Flush any DNS caches you have. S@H changed the IP address of the scheduler about the end of June.

If you get this messager from time to time it is okay. But it really means the database is down and this dosn't happen to often.

If it happens continuously over days you should check your internet connection, caches, proxys, AOL as provider and so on. Possible there is saved a wrong response from the SETI@home server.

Thanks for you help. I checked everything: there's no proxy, I don't use AOL, the connection is working with everything and I didn't change anything in my router and firewall. I use Peerguardian as an additional firewall, but even if it's shutdown, I still have the same error...and I don't know what to do...

Server is in a backlog and not sending very many WUs at this time and that is the reason for your messages....

I will wait then... Thank you for your reply.

Still not working... I check everything. The point is that the scheduler respond saying that the project is down for maintenance... Is it?

Since the end of June I had problems with boinc. My account is still there but I always get an error saying the the project is down for maintenance. I tried to reset the project and today to detach the project and start all over. Now I can't even attach the project. This is the error I get:

11-lug-05 12.26.07|http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/|Sending scheduler request to http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi
11-lug-05 12.26.07|http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/|Requesting 8640 seconds of work, returning 0 results

11-lug-05 12.26.08|http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/|Detaching from project

Is there a quick solution?
