remember that boinc runs at lowest priority... dont ahve anything else running on your computer.... if you have 200/xp you can increase the priority

also make sure your preferences arent interfering with the downloads

also check your prefences to make sure it will allow downloads
make sure no spaces in your url or password
I get wu's every day when I return finished wu's

if you are running predictor, chances are you will not download any seti until you are finished with predictor -- this is my problem with that thing

try emptying your temp files and temp internet files, I had to do this when I got this error.

instead of complaining of no work, why dont you set your queue to several days (7-10) and then you will not have to worry about the 30 minutes or so when there is no work when you need it!!

it could be you have a virus too!! There are virii that cause the computer to beep. make sure you do an up to date virus scan. it could only be a heat sensor if you are running a program like asus probe.

my account page shows I have 260 some credits, and then I went to my team page and it shows me having zero credits although some other teammates are having credit. whats going on here?

considering your drive is already 90% full, saying to leave 75% free, of course it will not download anything!
change your settings to fill up your drive or get a larger HD to put boinc onto

I am also running XP, the credits are not updating on the boinc client. On the website I have credits, but not on the client.

Hi there, that does seem quite high for your chip. Make sure you defrag your drive and try not to have anything else running.
