(Message 510479)
Posted 29 Jan 2007 by Jeannot Le Tazon Post: Do you think a layman like me could understand much of the International Journal of Astrobiology? Hi, I am a layman too ! and that's the reason why I read the Newscientist article first. You could see that they talk about SETI somewhere else Unfortunately the complete article is only available for subscribers. Maybe I'm going to buy a paper version. |

(Message 442565)
Posted 23 Oct 2006 by Jeannot Le Tazon Post: I appreciate the speedy response, I set my CPU's to 2 yesterday and I still am only getting 2 running projects and usually 2-3 stand-by projects. is there any other way to change the project settings directly? 1 CPU = 1 job. |

Free Energy?
(Message 402234)
Posted 20 Aug 2006 by Jeannot Le Tazon Post: Interesting article can be found here about a company who makes claim to free energy. Great if true. But Steorn company adds : "Following the validation process, Steorn intends to license its technology to organisations within the energy sector". Maybe not the best thing to do. Thanks for the link. |

Checking brand new thread
(Message 319334)
Posted 28 May 2006 by Jeannot Le Tazon Post: For the mods. Could it be possible to check a new thread to validate its content or the place it is posted ? what I mean is that before a brand new thread could be visible by the community, you'd take a look at it (& decide to accept it or no, to post it on the right board....) I know you've got a really tough job with all those guys arguying/complaining, don't know if you can do that, but what I'd like is to avoid that some kind of thread could be posted in the Science board :( >>> look at that...My country it could be deleted as far as i'm concerned, or maybe posted in the Cafe. Thanks. |
