The feed of cuda_fermi packets is (mostly) uninterrupted, as well as the feed of CPU packets for my other projects (rosetta & Einstein). Does anybody have an explanlation (an/or fix) for that ? By the way, I observe may cuda_fermi packets wit calculation errors. Normal packets run for about 10..15 minutes and cause a GPU load of 50...60%. The "bad" packets start, run about 2..3 hours and cause the GPU approx. zero load. At the end they result ins "calculation error". Any hint ? Per aspera ad ETI ... Seneca 0=0

22) Message boards : Number crunching : Monster Workunits from Astropulse (Message 1081748) Posted 26 Feb 2011 by Seneca Post: I admit that my PC is not state-of-the art anymore, but anyhow I try to give the best out of it. With the current seti@home workunits no problem arises - the average CPU demand is somewhat around 15 hours, an amount that could be easy done even with a P4/2.6 not running 24/7/365. Unfortunately I got an anstropulse packet on some weeks agot that ran well over 100 hours CPU time, and when I finally finished it, the packet was 2 days overdue - no credit emerged from it. I thought the packets are sized to not overload the clients with undue big sized packets ? I would prefer that packets are well sized even for the slower clients out in the wild - the seti@home standard packet for me (~15hrs) would fit that criterium well ....

After inserting it, it seems to work fine, but when I look into the team page some days later, the image is gone ... like some kind of bot detects it and resets my team description to the former version. 26) Questions and Answers : Web site : Foundership change request not cleared (Message 727399) Posted 17 Mar 2008 by Seneca Post: After a long period of being the only active member, I have launched a foundership request for the team NATHAN in 2007, which got a deadline for the previous founder on August 15, 2007. The previous founder didn't respond, so I've taken over the team. Unfortunately the foundership change request has not been cleared, so I constantly see the warning that I'm about to take over my own team. Any hint how to resolve that ? I have not tried to decline the change, because I'm not sure what will happen. Greetings Seneca
