1) Questions and Answers : Windows : getting boinc started (Message 192409) Posted 23 Nov 2005 by Alpinest Post: This is the same problem everybody else is/was having. But in reading the threads here I don't see an answer. I've been running Seti Classic for years and just updated to the new boinc program. Now I can't connect to the project to get another work unit. I enter the url for seti (http://setiathome.berkeley.edu) but when I try to attach to the project it tries for a while and then asks for proxie settings. I don't know the proxie settings and have not been able to find them on the website. I am using Windows xp with a broad band connection. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
