1) Questions and Answers : Windows : What to do with unfinished file? (Message 161424) Posted 1 Sep 2005 by Kat Post: I now have two computers processing SETI data. My new computer has BOINC and is processing just fine. My old laptop, however, has been bogged by suspected spyware and once I've transferred data files to the new computer, I plan to reformat its hard drive and install Windows XP. Currently, the laptop is processing with SETI Classic. Is there a way to have it send the latest file it's working on and not download a new file? And, once it's reformatted, will I lose all credit for the several hundred files it's processed in the past five years?
