Task list fails to show info
(Message 1018377)
Posted 22 Jul 2010 by Tony Mastrullo Post: I'm also unable to have BOINC run SETI. BOINC gives message of trying to connect to client, and only option is to shut it down, I have around 30 work units most due from the 2nd of August, and are 6~10 Hours each, my dual core Laptop is not capable of getting much more output. Can I tell BOINC (and how)to run the units connected to local host only, ie give SETI Network time to recover? I have just updated to ver...58 and no change to trying to connect to the client. I have only ever run SETI and am not interested in anything else for now. I look forward to some help at this hopefully temp not much longer problem. |

Running Boinc and Seti@Home

Posted 15 Jun 2005 by Tony Mastrullo Post: I'm sorry, I have a follow-up question; can I make Seti Classic stop reminding me I need to remove the .txt file to get new results on every start-up? Best way....Remove Seti@home from the Windows Start Up. You can always add it anytime later if needed (when Boinc is down etc). |

Running Boinc and Seti@Home
(Message 118011)
Posted 3 Jun 2005 by Tony Mastrullo Post: Hi I installed Boinc some time ago and it's fine. I'm still running Seti@home (Ver 3.08), Boinc claims it's running Setiathome Ver 4.09. Are they both running at the same time and should I uninstall Seti@home Ver 3.08 so the Processor isn't shared to run both?. ie is Boinc actually also running its own Ver of Seti?? |
