3) Message boards : Number crunching : Strange full stop on my windows (Message 216521) Posted 17 Dec 2005 by Sergio (HCSoft) Post: This is very strange, 4 hours ago I agreed to install last security patches on my WinXP, rebooted, and from then, the work unit is 4 hours at 0%, the graphics show the algorithms doing nothing at all, no columns moving, nothing... but it is using 100% of my CPU. I have plenty of work units, everithing looks normal, except it is working for nothing. Have rebooted twice to no change... any of you running on the same problems? BTW: I also have instaled a VMWare product, but I don't see how this could make it not to work.
