The IP addresses and hostnames are only visible for the owner of the account, and have no functional cause in the statistics.

It would help BOINC users to track their PCs behind NAT with dynamic IP from ISP
It has nothing to do with stats.

I don't understand, what you mean. Can you please explain it a little bit more detailed.

Computers on small LANs with Dynamic external IPs behind routers with NAT (network address translation) can become inaccessible even if the router is configured for remote access, because external (public) address changes. There are services like www.dyndns.com to keep track of dynamic IPs, but sometimes DynDNS clients fail. It would be nice to have in “computer information” both IPs: IP address of the computer that is running BOINC client, and IP that computer is connecting to BOINC server from – external (public) IP address. For example if there are several computers with the same internal private IP like 192.168.1.2 (see RFC-1918) on separate small/home networks in different places. IP addresses can be the same on all “computer information” pages. Public IPs of those computers would be different.

It would be nice to have an external (public) IP address shown there along with internal (private) one. Sort of backup dynamic DNS client. External IP can be acquired from sites like whatismyip.com, showmyip.com, etc, or from SETI/BOINC server itself.

Hello!

It would be very nice to have core client version column in the computer list. That will help a lot with upgrade process when new core client is published. Right now it is not easy to track computers that are not updated.

Best regards,
Andrey Elbakian.
