SETI@home hibernation
(Message 2036555)
Posted 7 Mar 2020 by J. Jaxson (Jackson) Post: I am honored to have been a part of SETI@HOME since its conception. Started crunching packets in May of 1999 with 24/7/365 of 21 years of continuous processing. Hopefully your analysis of the data has been sufficient enough to make a conclusion. I look forward to reading your final report. I believe there is other conscience life out there, its only a matter of time .... |

Astropulse time tripling
(Message 834344)
Posted 26 Nov 2008 by J. Jaxson (Jackson) Post: Yesterday Astropulse reported WU 56% donewith about 20 hours to completion. Today it reports the same WU with 54 hours CPU time and 1.2% completed and 111.29 hours to completion. Seems like Astropulse does not know what its doing. Is this a malfunction in the program or what. Intel/P4/3.0Ghz-HT/3gig |

File size increase or what?
(Message 671524)
Posted 3 Nov 2007 by J. Jaxson (Jackson) Post: One more question or query. Say if my usual WU has been an average of 4-6 hours, the past couple weeks the WU's have been taking anywhere up to 28 hours, this does not seem to be productive. Nothing has changed mechanically on my end. Thanks. |
