2) Questions and Answers : Windows : SETI WU's crash PC, but AstroPulse fine (Message 1164636) Posted 22 Oct 2011 by Azhren Post: For quite a while I've stopped crunching because after approx 5 mins(only had SETI Enhanced WU's) my PC would either restart or shutdown. Each time it happened couldn't find ANY error logs. Most threads I read said it could be my ATI Drivers (Radeon HD 5700 GPU, ver 11.9 Drivers (updated yesterday)), so I uninstalled drivers and used Driver Sweeper and reinstalled drivers. Then uninstalled BOINC 6.12.36, rebooted then installed 6.12.37. The first WU downloaded was AstroPulse, which ran for nearly 2hrs before the first SETI WU was downloaded. Then 5mins later, PC shutdown. Have suspended ALL SETI WU's, left AstroPulse running, so far seems fine (Astro running 3.5 hrs at time of post)

With Classic I am using SetiMonitor with cache set for 25 WU. I am able to send and receive WU with Classic but still failing to connect with BOINC. What gives?
