After running Seti@Home for around 15 years, I had hoped something would have been discovered by now. Well, I hope it can continue for a few more years.

(Message 1659464) Posted 30 Mar 2015 by BaldBear Post: I am now retired, but in the 80's I was on active duty in the Air Force and worked for NASA at JSC. Because of this, my family firmly believes that I know something about the existence of aliens but just refuse to admit it. I can't convince them otherwise. Believe me, if I knew something, I would be telling everybody.

4) Message boards : SETI@home Science : Losing hope... (Message 1648550) Posted 2 Mar 2015 by BaldBear Post: I have been running Seti@Home since 1999 and back then I was sure that a signal would be detected during my lifetime. Now that it is 2015 I am not so sure. The optimism of youth is slowly fading. I will continue to run Seti@Home as long as there is a spark of hope.
