Hide Boinc from Users

Post: Hello, I own a computer store / learning facility. I have a lab room in which we give beginner courses to the public. I would like to install seti on each of these computers. However, I have to be able to hide all traces of it and it would be nice if it never popped any messages on the screen. We have some "tinkerers" in our groups sometimes. Try running BOINC as a service. The newer BOINC apps gave me a choice if I wanted it as a service or regular login. I have it running on as a service on my daughter's computer because we created like 6 login people and I wanted it running all the time the computer was on. My other computers I have as a regular program. All seem to work good. Even when I turn on my daughter computer and walk away before actually login on a specific login it is already working. |
