(Message 582584) Posted 7 Jun 2007 by Ray Rodden Post: got new desktop computer last November (2006) with free Vista upgrade in 2007 when released. got laptop in 2007 with Vista installed. Laptop great, no problems. Finally upgraded desktop two weeks ago after checking everything and getting Vista driver upgrades for all the hardware VERDICT- THE PITS. Same spec as laptop, same memory, smaller HD in laptop, desktop faster processor. SLOW aint the word. Boinc running sooo muchhhh slooooooooowwwwweeeeer. Get Vista pre-installed in factory on new computer or forget it!
