The find command is there when I search. So the software is now happily crunching on the CPU , but it has never requested any GPU units. Just manually coppied the three .aistub files into app_info.xml and it is happy. Bruce

After running the Lunatics 0.39 (64 bit) windows installer it is leaving me with an app_info.xml file that only contains the <app_info>. I have tried a standard install and install as administrator but both give me this 'empty' file. The machine is an i7-2960XM with a Nvidia Quadro 4000M card so it should be OK. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks Bruce

Designed by my old boss at Amino , Jim Westwood back in his Sinclair days (plus the black watch small tv and many others). Some of the stories he used to tell of the 'good old days' were classics. He was even given a small cameo part in the BBC tv production of the "Micro Men", in the back of one of the scenes in a WHSmiths shop. Made us all laugh.

(Message 539945) Posted 2 Apr 2007 by BigBruce Post: Hi Ben , have you checked to see if your machine is overheating, or does it have a faulty memory simm. From the machine spec's it looks like a P3 500Mhz , which by now could even have a failing CPU fan. (Something I have suffered from in the seti classic days). To test the memory I would suggest Memtest X86 (usually comes as a boot option on knoppix CD's). Hope this helps Bruce

My other machines arn't so luck and they have been empty since last night. I have upped the cache from the 0.1 day default to 1 day now to hopefully get around this in the future Bruce
