1) Questions and Answers : Windows : BOINC manager stays active in taskbar (Message 228638) Posted 10 Jan 2006 by easthollow Post: BOINC Manager is configured to launch on startup (Win XP with SP2). However, when it launches, it doesn't minimize to tray but to the taskbar, and the only way to get it to minimize to the tray is to right-click the tray icon, click Open Boinc Manager... menu item, and then close BOINC manager. You can't interact with the taskbar one. Is this a known issue? Is there a fix?
