2) Questions and Answers : Windows : Work never suspends (Message 921338) Posted 25 Jul 2009 by Kevin Steele Post: I've run into a strange problem on one of my PC's -- BOINC never suspends work, even if I'm active on the computer. I've got my "universal" settings to pause if the user is active, and even set up work and home settings with the same settings, and assigned the work settings to this computer. My other computers work as expected -- if you move the mouse, BOINC stops working. On this system, however, BOINC continues to run GPU and CPU tasks, even if you're trying to do something else. No matter what settings I specify (and select Update to move the settings to BOINC), it still refuses to suspend work, even after a reset of the computer. Any idea what's going on?
