I think perhaps you have misunderstood the whole point of SETI. Sure its nice to process units and get recognition for it, but really we are here and are offering our CPU's for the greater good. I will lose my 2500 or so units, but who cares? sah have spent a good deal of time and effort in improving the software, I volunteer knowing that I won't get any money or anything else tangible for it. I just think its a cool thing to do,

So don't complain too much. Its not really about you, its about the search for extra terrestrial intelligence and the best way to get it done.

Look at the bright side; if everyone is set to zero, you start level with EVERYONE else, including me and those who have processed hundred's of thousands of units. Your fifty units are valuable, but try and put your complaint in the perspective that it should have.
