comes out to about 35 days, which is well-past the reporting deadline. Perhaps I should just kill it?

Thanks for that. Definitely shows a HUGE negative number for CPDN. All others are positive. Will changing my resource shares help at all? Or should I just be patient and wait?

SETI, CPDN, Einstein, Rosetta, and QMC all running equal shares. Does that make sense?

Also, Cx326317-E is typically turned off (MyGF's Laptop), is that why that name can't be resolved?

RUnning BOINC 5.10.30

Two other machines in-house running same. This one only ever has one or two tasks in the tasklist, the other two machines always have 10-20 or more, and all machines setting in preferences are set the same.

Here are the first messages from after I start BOINC, if it helps. Any ideas?

6) Questions and Answers : Windows : Boinc Manager is not able to connect to a Boinc client (Message 468896)

Post:
I think I was barking up the wrong tree. The comp I was having the trouble with is connect to my home network via wireless. I was getting connection troubles with that. I installed a new wireless NIC, and it has not failed since. Weird, b/c the Boinc messages seemd to lead me down a different road. However, for the last 36 hours absolutely no problems. I had not gone more than 4 hours before. I'll keep an eye on it, check back if I have more trouble.

Thanks.
7) Questions and Answers : Windows : Boinc Manager is not able to connect to a Boinc client (Message 467469)

I've seen the other threads on this subject, but my situation is somewhat different. Boinc starts fine, either automatically during a reboot, or manually once the computer is up and running. I have projects listed on the project tab, and tasks listed and running on the tasks tab. All seems to be working fine. Then I leave to go to work, or go to bed, and get back to it later and see that both the project tab and the tasks tab are blank (no projects, no work), and the subject message is in a box window on my screen. At this point, if I simply close the manager, then restart it works fine for a while, then repeats. I am running Boincview, thought that might somehow be causing trouble. Turned it off, same problem. My password is correct in the _auth.cfg file (WITH the carriage return at the end), etc. Any ideas?
8) Questions and Answers : Web site : SETI Classic Credit (Message 209195)
Posted 10 Dec 2005 by Profile Destroyer_Kahn
Post:
I ran SETI Classic for years and accumulate over 5000 units. I switched to SETI/BOINC awhile back before it was possible to transfer the Classic credits over to my BOINC account. Now there is a form to fill out to transfer the Classic credits that I am having trouble with. One, it asks for my Classic password. I for the life of me cannot remember it, it has been so long since I used it. Two, I switched my SETI/BOINC e-mail addy and I can only find the account key for my original e-mail addy. When I try to use that key the site tells me it is a bad account key. HELP!!!
9) Message boards : SETI@home Science : Server "Down" all too often (Message 139277)

I don't think the server can be "down", even though I can't turn in my completed work, I still get new work. Must be some other prob.
