Can I disable Intel iGPU?
(Message 2027521)
Posted 12 Jan 2020 by frighten Post: So I've exclusively used a home made raspberry pi cluster these past 2 and 1/2 years for SETI@home, and decided to expand into GPU computing to help the efforts. I have a Jetson Nano coming in so I can use CUDA cores, and my personal computer is a Mac Mini with a Radon VII in an eGPU enclosure. For the Mac Mini, I don't really want to use the CPU much because of the thermals of the case. So I've limited the CPU time greatly, which works. But since I am using GPU processing with the Radeon VII, this is also having the Intel iGPU run maxed out, which is causing a ton of heat inside the Mac Mini. So my question is there a config flag or something I can use to get BOINC to ignore the Intel iGPU but still use Radeon VII? |
