The temp was recently -108F/-77.8C at Mt Washington in NY.

New Hampshire, not NY. I have been to the summit.

G'day Bernie, long time no see. I hope that all has been well at your end.

It's doesn't look like that rain can't attain this altitude so it was a good idea that I watered my veggies again today as my butternut pumpkin plants explode out of their containers and I try to keep them away from my potato stacks that still have 10 days to go before I start knocking them down and starting the stacks again.

I also won't plant so many cos lettuce next time as I can't keep up with plucking the leaves off of 4 so I'll just plant 2 when the sunshine lands on the other side of my shed and it looks like whatever was feasting on my bok choi has left so I may get something out of them after all.

I also decided to leave the mowing until tomorrow.

Anyhow I'm going to finish this beer and then think about getting something to eat today.

Cheers.

Ooops... I must be getting nesh... By 'eck it felt frigidly frosty chilly this morning!

And soon enough, the beautiful sunshine steamed off all the frost.

Still... Some oil is again acting more like treacle rather than something a little more fluid...

Sunbathing later?!

More rain this morning. Unfortunately it will turn in snow later. Have to think about going to the store very soon before it gets slick.

Posting on a Thorsday morning wait for that big light to come on as the wet stuff still plays around the base of these mountains.

Time for a coffee.

Cheers.

I just topped up and sealed the brew that I put down yesterday as the excessive yeast farting is over enough to do so and hopefully that rain will stay down on the flat for a few more hours so that I can mow the yard on the cool and overcast day.

Anyhow it's time for another coffee.

Cheers.

Well I got the yard here mowed just in time before the rainfall happened.

Meanwhile 19C (felt like 18C) was the best that we could do here today.

Now as we take a break in it I'll go and feed dog.

Cheers.

Indeed, we have sunshine!

The frost and ice have run away!!

Unfortunately, the chill is lingering on behind...

The heat stick in the garden may say it is above freezing, but I think it's not telling the truth - it still feels as if freezing is a temperature greater than that being indicated. And so my fingers are frozen.

Covid day 5, fever is gone, still feels like a massive cat is on my chest but most of my body feels ok. My chest still hurts from so much coughing. But feels like I am on the mend I will be ready to leave home again in a few days.

Massive cat on your chest - I know just what you mean, eventually said cat does loose weight.
I hope you get clear soon Carlos.
