Meanwhile:

There’s No Need To Worry About Australia's Missing Radioactive Capsule

First it was rabbits.

Then it was toads.

And now?... How many of those new critters are there??

Where's Crocodile Dundee to save the continent when needed?!!!

Enjoy?

I'm sorry Chucky, but you'll just have to put up with just being on the backside of our coins.

Australian $5 note redesign won't feature King Charles, as Queen Elizabeth portrait removed in update.

King Charles will not feature on Australia's $5 banknote following a decision by the Reserve Bank of Australia, prompting outrage from the Opposition.

The portrait of Queen Elizabeth II first appeared on the $5 polymer note in July 1992 when the Queen celebrated the 40th anniversary of her accession.

Following the Queen's death, the RBA reviewed the design and today announced via a statement that the note will change, following consultation with the federal government.

"The Reserve Bank has decided to update the $5 banknote to feature a new design that honours the culture and history of the First Australians," the statement said.

"This new design will replace the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

"The other side of the $5 banknote will continue to feature the Australian Parliament."

However it is expected to take several years until the new note is in circulation....
Liz got promoted from our $1 note up to our $5 note (because our $2 note was soon to follow the $1 note becoming coins) and Chucky gets demoted. Is it a sign of things to come?

Hundreds of eyesores are now being removed from our city streets after being dumped here by Chinese company that went bust down under, but at least they won't wind up in landfill.

Hundreds of abandoned share bikes in Sydney being collected by bicycle recycler Revolve ReCYCLING.

A Sydney-based bicycle recycler is collecting hundreds of abandoned share bikes from the city's streets to keep them from going into landfill.

Revolve ReCYCLING is targeting the bikes left on the street and in warehouse storage from the failed company Mobike.

Pete Shmigel from Revolve ReCYCLING said the company had picked up 150 bikes off the street so far.

"There's a lot of bikes that … are out on the streets of Sydney," Mr Shmigel told ABC Radio Sydney.

"[There are] about 250 bikes that the owner really irresponsibly just left scattered about."

Mr Shmigel said there were also about 1,600 bikes sitting in the storage facility at Riverstone that Mobike's liquidator said were valueless.

"That means that, eventually, their destiny is to go to the tip if we can't find something better to do with them," Mr Shmigel said...

Beware of vehicle giveaway charity raffles.

A Queensland company is under investigation after a young hairdresser who won a $100,000 4WD in one of their raffles had the luxury 4WD repossessed.

And it's not the only report of this happening with this company.

U.S. FAA reopens Montana airspace shut for defense activities
WASHINGTON, Feb 11 (Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said late Saturday it had reopened some airspace in Montana after it was briefly closed for undisclosed Defense Department activities.

The FAA had issued a notice temporarily barring flights in an area about 50 by 50 nautical miles around Havre, Montana, near the Canadian border and classifying the area as "national defense airspace."

The FAA said just before 8:30 p.m. ET the airspace had been reopened.

The FAA declined to say whether the directive was related to another suspected balloon or object. The FAA issued similar actions in response to a suspected Chinese spy balloon that crossed the continental United States from Montana to South Carolina and was shot down earlier this month.

A waste of time and money. Another fake meat company learns that it's just not worth it.

Plant-based meat manufacturer V2food set to close $20m Wodonga factory.

People want cheap real meat burgers, not over priced veggie patty burgers.

Indian prime monster, Narendra Modi, proves that he's nothing but another crooked little man who doesn't like the truth coming out.

Indian authorities accuse BBC of tax evasion after broadcaster airs documentary critical of Narendra Modi.

I wonder how many of those crooked Indian scam call centres actually belong to Modi.

My take is that he was more than a "caretaker president" (business as usual), but he was a proper "President" (unlike 1 recent deposed fool crooked loser that I can think of).

The oldest living former US President, Jimmy Carter, has opted for end-of-life care after a difficult health battle.

A report wasn't needed to know this as it's been going on all around the world.

Australia’s best-known companies have reported billions in profits recently, with the brutal truth that their excessive price rises are “crushing” people.

Just plain outright corporate greed.

I was expecting this to happen.

Poor Chucky has a big problem.

King Charles is struggling big time to find acts to perform at his coronation concert. Here are all the stars who have said no.

But then again royalty is becoming somewhat of a joke these days.
