This impressed me most: PIK-a documentary film project by Dmitri Komarov. Part 1 (1:03h): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhssmUtN874 Part 2 (1:20h): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlkzADUfb3s First draft versions of a documentary film on the Ukraine war by the well-known Ukrainian documentary filmmaker Dmitri Komarov. For this film, he had access to the highest circles in Ukrainian government and to military leaders. He accompanied President Zelensky on train trips in the country, interviewed him many times. He visited military command and control centers and spoke to military leaders. He accompanied front-line troops and was often the first civilian in liberated towns and villages. He documents the total destruction as well as the relief of the liberated Ukrainians. Film only exists in Ukrainian language. There are synchronized audio tracks in different languages as well as automatically generated subtitles (configure in Youtube player). |

PooTin has his body doubles out in force meeting the people (he wouldn't do that personally as he's too worried about getting infected by something). 'No Question' Putin Using Body Double After Mutiny. Meanwhile the U.S. actively considering giving cluster munitions to Ukraine seeing as PooTin is so fond of them. And his orcs arn't happy about fighting. Russian flyers who disobeyed orders to attack Wagner forces may be caught up in Putin's dragnet. Russian Troops Refuse Orders to Go to 'Meat Grinder' Front Line. All causing his popularity to teeter. Pro-Kremlin Bloggers Turn on PooTin. Is the PooTin System About to Implode? |

PooTin has his body doubles out in force meeting the people (he wouldn't do that personally as he's too worried about getting infected by something).Infected? That's the least of his worries today, I'd think. ---> "getting shot". How many illegal guns now in Russia? These idiotic army issues rifles to their troops in Ukraine without registering them. A military culture which plunders washing machines and toilets but their rifles and hand grenades were safely kept, counted, and registered at the front lines? 'No Question' Putin Using Body Double After Mutiny.Body doubles know about guns and war too. Do they have a hazard pay in their contracts? How much wodka do these guys drink before public appearances as "Putin" to stop shaking. Poor mooks. Meanwhile the U.S. actively considering giving cluster munitions to Ukraine seeing as PooTin is so fond of them. This infuriates European politicians from Greens and Left-wing parties way more than depleted uranium projectiles which the Brits delivered together with Challenger tanks. They didn't talked much about. Public outcry? No. Hopefully somebody knows in the U.S. [EDIT:]I saw a long freight train at my hometown station this morning: heavy military tractors, American type, still in sand-colored paint. That will bring about the end of this war. Russia isn't capable of anything else than railway logistics to supply troops. |

I just hope that if and/or when Putin is removed from power his replacement isn't another warmonger. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. This no longer applies in light of current events. |

You've only got to look to the history of Russia to get the answer to that. |

Thinking aloud..... Did Prigozhin think "Well I could easily overthrow Putin, but do I really want to have all the trouble of clearing up the mess he's made of Mother Russia, or should I let some other poor soul (or even Putin) do that?" Thinking aloud.....He had significant support from military leaders, if he was able to speed down to Moscow in 1..2 days, not only from Surovikin. Military leaders are completely fed up with Shoigu's and Gerassimov's incompetence. But supposedly Prigozhin wasn't able to gain support from sufficient number of oligarchs (and security services: FSB). Then what? Take over Moscow? Putin's SS, the Rossgvardia surely had some road blocks prepared at Moscow's motorway ring. Putin (and many oligarchs) fled to St. Petersburg or elsewhere. I think Prigozhin knew he couldn't just take over Moscow, like Rostov. He wanted to pressure Putin only to fire Shoigu and Gerassimov. Putin refused to talk. Bad idea, either you have the will to overthrow the tsar, or you better purr like a kitten. This Prigozhin figure doesn't seem very smart. He's impulsive, emotional, and weak. He never was a military leader. He lost and Putin too. |

He very nearly did capture Shoigu in Rostov... But unfortunately was rumbled or otherwise betrayed... Can there be a good outcome?... Stay safe folks! Martin See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

He very nearly did capture Shoigu in Rostov... But unfortunately was rumbled or otherwise betrayed...There's always a good outcome possible. The last time there seemed to be no way out of growing social and economic problems in the USSR, the encrusted gerontocracy of ailing state leaders put a young reformer at the top in 1985: Mikhail Gorbachev. He was a thoughtful, very clever, persuasive man from the deep southern Russian province who really wanted to improve the living conditions of the people in his country. He withdrew the Red Army from Afghanistan. He ended the desastrous state-planned economy. He allowed critics to return from exile and rehabilitated opposition members. Surely there are hundreds of people like him out there. But as soon as such a sane, concerned, rational leader comes to power in Russia, in a state that has been coerced together by force and held together only by force, the urge of oppressed peoples and regions to secede arises again... (e.g. Chechnia) But Putin's poison of propaganda, lies, violence, aggression, terror has completely deadened this society. It will probably take a long time before the majority of Russians recognize this. Years; a decade; a generation? |

I reckon that Prigozhin opened the eyes of a lot Russian people with news of what's really going on in PooTin's foolish war. Russian Families Allege Soldiers Left to Fight Without Ammo, Equipment. As well as others. Prigozhin Mutiny Revealed 'Insane Amount of Information' to Enemy. Which will only get worse as the number of sons, husbands, brothers, etc,..., that don't return home or come home with holes in them or pieces missing grows.[/url] |

We read that Russia will not honor the agreement with Mr. Prigozhin, granting him immunity from prosecution. It seems that it was belatedly realized that this agreement made Mr. Putin look weak; having to negotiate with someone he'd just called a traitor and criminal, essentially letting him off, in exchange for exile. One wonders how he, and his mercenary army, which is though to be very loyal to their leader, will react to this. It's not at all clear that Mr. Prigozhin's group has simply disbanded. They might well continue to stir up trouble and discontent, especially if Russian authorities try seriously to pursue a case against Mr. Prigozhin |

Did Putin ever honored any agreement? Prigozhin knows for sure. Pursuing a case against a leader of a mercenary army which was funded by Russia's government which is illegal as of Russia's constitution... That's Orwell's Double Think. Russian TV propagandists would go insane trying to motivate this. While mercenary armies in Europe during the Thirty Years' War fund themselves for decades from looting, I suspect that this works in Europe today (too high costs). This may works in Africa, where dictators give mercenaries access to gold mines, gold mining business and small groups of mercenaries are sufficiently powerful. Mercenaries are loyal to whoever provides their income. Then... trouble and discontent..... What is the goal? Who will fund them now? Maybe Russia in secret because of their strategic position in Africa? Prigozhin himself? Lukashenko as a guarantee for his sovereignty against Russia (Putin declared not only Ukrainians but also Belarusians to be part of the All-Russian people). For what else? Hybrid warfare against the Baltics or Poland? Hopefully not. |

Is there no place for intelligence and culture in the madness that is Russia? For sure, there is: Swan Lake Ballet in Moscow's Bolshoi theatre; Pushkin, Dostoevsky, [...all flavours of imperialistic Russian writers], Tchaikovski.... and all the military and non-military "intelligence" services. But there's no such thing as a "Ukrainian culture" or "Ukraininian intelligence" which are only an invention of the evil west to destroy mother Russia. |

Who do you believe when watching and listening to reporters in Russia and the Ukraine? I see reports that the Ukrainians are loosing badly while others say Russia is on the brink of defeat.
