It looks like it's going to be another lackluster day here as the odd raindrop falls from the sky now and again and the shed's solar heating is offline due to the lack of any sunshine (and I really have nothing to do downstairs to warrant lighting the fire). About the only thing that I'll do today is to cross the road and get 1 more beer brew to do tomorrow morning as I should have the required number of empty bottles by the time it's ready to bottle (that'll complete the catch up on stock after last summer). Cheers. |

Sounds like you've got quite a finely balanced production run in perpetual motion, keeping your yeast, bottles, and yourself fed! That reminds me that I'm long overdue for feeding some of their cousins for some bread making :-) Yum! As I walked past my car on the way across to the village's supermarket to get the supplies for that brew, plus 3L of milk (it seems that my shed is becoming a morning "coffee house" as well these days), I was wondering when I started it last (with a chemist shop in the village now I don't have to go those 80km monthly trips into town anymore) so I thought that I better roll up the roller door and let the old girl run for 30mins. Anyhow I'm ready for tomorrow morning now as it's expected to be even more miserable than today so the heat produced by doing that brew will be appreciated. ;-) Cheers. |

Yep, good move for keeping things charged and lubricated. Same concern here with the lockdown to make sure my car gets revitalized once a week or so... Time flies! See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Meowmeowmeow....catnaps are good!! Not when solid sleep is needed. I need at least 6 hours solid. Not 3 or 4 Kitty naps. Beginning to think a sleep catheter is a interesting idea. |

I know what you mean about solid sleep, Admiral. I am a rather poor sleeper myself. It's a frustrating night when you only sleep for an hour or so and wake up again, only to repeat the process over and over all night long. So I often resort to a couple of catnaps with my Purrball kitty during the day. It gets to the point where I thank the Lord when I wake up and realize that I actually stayed asleep for several hours....LOL. Meow "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

The best sleep inducer is some good positive (and fun!) physical exercise... Fresh air really does work! Enjoy :-) See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

+1 Yeah 6hrs+ sleep is good, if I don't go to bed early enough I can only get 3-4 hours on my bed, the rest has to be made up on the sofa. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Solid sleep. If I could get some. During the work week I have only four hours to jump into bed if I want to try to get six. I just have to get what I can. Edit: Sounds like Thor is doing sound tests outside. Expect more party festivities to continue. Extra Edit: Event trigger is fast coming. So please try to get in all your eligibility posts in. |

Undisturbed sleep is very important. I gave up 'online support' due to a certain group completely abusing the 'on-call' service at all manner of silly times. All too often to try to offload their own work or to give some random excuse for the guaranteed failure of impossible demands... Phone gets switched completely to OFF. The world can wait - it will still be there ;-) Sweet dreams :-) See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

My phones last duty for the night is as a flashlight, no more replacing D cell batteries for a traditional flashlight w/an led lamp. The phone is set to sleep and put under my beds pillow, then I fall asleep and if I have enough pain pills in me, I can sleep up to 7hours, though I will still need to get up and use the main bathroom.
