An old friend replied WTF to a post I made about starting a new job. I had to ask why they responded that way. She said that she thought it stood for Wow That's Fantastic.

This one example of why delivering parcels isn't as easy as it might first appear.

Since this subject is frowned upon over in politics so I shall try bringing it up here.
Wednesday I had a turkey breast and Canadian bacon sandwich for lunch.
Yesterday I had a bacon burger with a side of onion rings at the neighborhood pub.
This evening I shall go back and have a large bowl of clam chowder with bacon bits.
Yes bacon is a subject for discussion.

And bacon flavoured crisps/snacks have no bacon...

Dread to wonder what the artificial ingredients might be...

Scrambled eggs on toasted raisin bread covered in crispy bacon sounds good right now. ;-)

It seems that Aussie birds are screaming up the charts here these days.

Rare Australian birdsong is flying up the charts, beating pop stars and Christmas favorites.

From treetops to top of the pop charts.

Soaring past big names like Taylor Swift and Michael Buble, an album featuring 53 of Australia’s most endangered birds has flown to No. 3 in the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) album chart since its release on Dec. 3.

“Songs of Disappearance,” featuring, among others, the Indian Ocean Red-tailed Tropicbird and the Eastern Grey Plover, was beaten only by the British superstars Adele and Ed Sheeran.

The 54-track album was created to coincide with the release of a book, “The Action Plan for Australian Birds,” by Charles Darwin University (CDU) and BirdLife Australia.

“The album is a way to get people to appreciate that this is what we’re likely to lose unless we do something about it,” the book’s editor, Stephen Garnett, a professor at CDU and an environmental scientist, told NBC news Friday.

“It really touches the hearts of people.”

The album was produced by CDU doctoral candidate Anthony Albrecht, who said the tracks feature some of the most rarely heard sounds in Australian nature....
Cheers.

Police say 63-year-old man stole entire bridge
"Detectives discovered that Bramley, who formally worked in the Akron area, paid a local trucking company for a crane service. The crane was later used to place the bridge on and off a vehicle that transported it to the Medina County property," said the Akron Police Department in a press statement
The bridge in question was 58 feet long, 10 feet wide, and 6 feet high.
