Cuomo mocked for claiming ‘incompetent government kills people’ in CNN, MSNBC appearances

Very curious as how Foxy News is 'reporting' (or is that 'entertainingly commenting' upon, allegedly?) opinions selected from Twitter as though somehow that is mainstream news... Really?!

That is quite a curiously mixed article. Mixed-up even!

Regarding sending COVID patients into care homes for the elderly for the sake of a 'quick fix' to free up (more expensive?) hospital beds for the 'unexpected' influx of desperately ill COVID victims: Unfortunately, that is a 'quick fix' story that turned out badly here in the UK also.

How about the L.A. Times?
They good enough for you?

Look up the same story from other sources and compare?

Personally, I consider the dumping of patients into care homes as a deadly 'mistake'...

However, that one aspect is very much not the full story.

Oh, but the fiction thrown about by CNN and MSNBC is OK though, because it fits your agenda, eh?

Oh, but the fiction thrown about by CNN and MSNBC is OK though, because it fits your agenda, eh?

And that is a problem with real world news and how it is selected and presented...

The news/media outlets are out to make money, too often from advertising. They are not motivated to provide any sort of 'service'.

Hence, there is very obvious bias and selection and silliness so as to 'give' what their 'audience/Market' want to see and hear...

There is a social media name given to that called the "Echo Box" or "Echo Chamber". The media readers select for themselves whatever channel best fits what they want to see... (And so they get to see only what they want to see...)

Meanwhile, reality is lost out the window of Marketing.

Biden told by GOP state AGs they're willing to sue if administration oversteps authority.

Fox News’s post-Trump slump, explained.

Over the past few months, Trump repeatedly derided Fox News while promoting upstart rivals like Newsmax and One America News Network (OAN), both of which more reliably pushed his conspiracy theories about the election being stolen. Fox News responded to this very public post-Election Day rift with Trump — and the sagging ratings that came with it — by purging its newsroom and doubling down on grievance-soaked punditry.

Don't watch them. No cable.
Generally read AP, UPI, Reuters, AFP, BBC, DW, NHK, NPR, PBS, City News Service, even TASS. Far more truthful than clickbait agenda like OAN, Faux, Britebart, Newsmax, et al.

Kitty,
Considering that all the links you have given us recently are all from the same source. And that source, Fox News, opinion programs, have been for most of the last five years a propaganda mouthpiece for Trump, I would take the opinion that Gary's and most of the others who's links are from multiple sources as being more truthful than yours.

6-days since the last post in this thread. That must mean that the new administration is doing a great job, so far. :-)
I think it may be a vacation.

You gotta love modern politics.
Instead of attacking problems that face the country, continue attacking each other.
No change then...

After Keystone cancel, is the Dakota Access Pipeline next?
Gas prices have spiked to a 12 month high.
Gas has risen every week since President Biden was inaugurated.

Biden is cutting back on projects to utilize the oil resources we have currently available to us.
I have no problem with him pursuing and promoting his left-wing 'green new deal' agenda, but the clown shouldn't be undercutting our current energy supplies before his 'dream world' is ready for prime time. Which it won't be for many years to come while the infrastructure to support it is built. In the meantime, the rest of us will have to 'pay at the pump' for his impetuous edicts.

The reason your gas prices have risen is because OPEC has cut production and U.S. stocks are low.

https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/Oil-Prices-Soar-Amid-Rumors-Of-New-Commodities-Supercycle.html
Oil was set for a second straight weekly gain, as OPEC+ continued to slash output and the group expects a stronger second half of the year, which to Bloomberg indicates "that global inventories will face sharp declines unless the cartel boosts supply." Indeed, Iraq said OPEC+ is unlikely to change its output policy at a March meeting. Meanwhile, in the U.S., crude stockpiles are at the lowest in nearly a year.

Thank you for making my point!
That absolutely underscores what a stupid move is was for Biden to quash the XL pipeline, which would bring additional supplies of Canadian crude to the US.
And it would be almost as stupid to step on the Dakota Access project as well.
But Biden does not give a rat's petoot about the impact to US energy security or the prices that Joe taxpayer will have to pay out of pocket.
Just as long as he satisfies the left wing radicals that have been pushing him all along.

Interesting, not polluting is a radical left wing thing, does the right wing endorse pollution?

Oh, nice try.
I already stated a few posts ago that I have no issue with pursuing green energy policies.
The current discussion is about the way bonehead Biden is going about things.
He's trying to put the cart before the horse.
