Here's a two for one forum posting:
First - Do you see the face on the head of the snake? If so, who/what do you see?

Two - TWO headed snake found on an Arizona golf course

Yikes!

I'd be very worried about what chemicals are sprayed on that course, or for what might be in the water...!

Two-headed snakes have been around for a very long time, from memory the oldest one in the British Natural History Museum dates back about 10k years, so I think we can rule out pollution and pesticides, but think about how the eggs are fertilized.

Yes, all reptiles (and some amphibians) should be well known for their occasional production of extra heads, limbs and tails without any outside help at all. Skinks have always been the most prevalent of all at showing these birth defects. ;-)

Cheers.

Massive snake found in Texas backyard. Police department sends ‘the new guy’ to help

Luckily, It was only a (big) harmless, nonvenomous bullsnake.

“Upon further investigation ... and consultation with a few friends of ours (aka marine scientists) who know a thing or two about sharks, it’s likely this is the spinal column of a white shark, and a pretty large one at that.”

Hunters in Arkansas catch longest alligator in state's history.
Four men in Arkansas just secured the state’s unofficial record for longest gator after dragging out a specimen measuring 13 feet, 11.5 inches.

Whenever I see those alligator hunters things I keep on wondering how they'd go if they suddenly came face to face with a 5-5.5m Saltie.

BTW, in Aussie a Saltie is what we call those cranky badass saltwater crocodiles we have here.

Cheers.
