A couple of observations on the 103 page document from the court.
First, in my book the President (and any leader of any other nation), should attempt to maintain a very clean sheet when it comes to their personal and corporate actions (physical, emotional, financial etc.)
So when that person is challenged they should attempt to comply with any legal investigation resulting from that challenge and not attempt to throw dust in the faces of those challenging. Bluster and hot air are throwing said dust - it would appear that much of the rebuttal deployed by Trump is nothing short of attempts to throw sand in the face of the challengers and or the investigators.
At the outset of the process it was clear that there was an election coming, and (understandably) did not want to have to face one or more awkward questions about his finances, so decided to try and delay things until after said election. The US legal process has moved into gear and the desire to delay such awkward revelations (if they actually exist) appears to have hit the rocks in that there is now a clear path for his finances over the last few years to be opened up to scrutiny...
Either he miss-read the runes, or he didn't (doesn't) understand the processes involved, either way round this brings a lot of focus onto the office of President of the United States of America in a very unbeholden manner that cannot be good for the next holder of that office, whoever it may be.

v2.0 will be spewing now.

Court orders Donald Trump to pay legal fees in Stormy Daniels suit.

Clifford sued Trump in 2018, seeking to be released from the NDA. In response, Trump and his legal team agreed outside of court not to sue or otherwise enforce the NDA. The suit was dismissed and Clifford's claims ruled moot, as the NDA had been rendered unenforceable.
Monday's decision was a response to Clifford's efforts to be reimbursed for costs and attorney's fees related to the case.
In his decision this week, Judge Robert Broadbelt III ruled that Clifford was entitled to legal fees, finding her the "prevailing party" under California law, despite the case having been dismissed.

Broadbelt also rejected an argument by Trump's attorneys that the President was not liable for the fees because he had not signed the NDA.
And then he pulls some more FAKE News out to air.

Trump spreads false claim Democrats dropped God from Pledge of Allegiance.

Under the first amendment to the US constitution, church and state are formally separate.

The Pledge of Allegiance was written by a Baptist minister in 1892, but it did not then include the words “under God”. They were formally added in 1954, when President Dwight D Eisenhower signed them into law.

The mention of God in the pledge has survived numerous legal challenges, some from atheists and humanists and some reaching the supreme court.

The pledge is widely, though not universally, recited in American public schools, which under a 1943 supreme court ruling cannot force students to say it.
Donny really needs to get himself a fact checker. ;-)

But he's also now going to blame the FDA for his upcoming feature failure.

Trump calls out FDA chief, suggests agency is slow-walking Covid clinical trials.

Trump on Saturday suggested that his own FDA is making it difficult for drug companies to enroll people in clinical trials for vaccines and therapies to treat Covid-19, part of a "deep state" plot to hinder his re-election prospects.

“Obviously, they are hoping to delay the answer until after November 3rd,” the president tweeted, tagging FDA Chief Stephen Hahn. “Must focus on speed, and saving lives!“

The president did not provide any evidence to support the accusation.
That's because (as usual) the only "evidence" is in his own warped imagination. ;-)

Kellyanne Conway resigns as senior White House adviser
Kellyanne Conway has announced that she is resigning from her post as Senior Counsel to US President Donald Trump.
In a statement, Mrs Conway said she was stepping down at the end of August to focus on her children, giving them "less drama, more mama".
Her husband George, an outspoken critic of the president, will also be stepping back from political activism.
She added that her decision was "completely my choice," and that she would announce future plans "in time".
Mrs Conway is scheduled to speak at the Republican National Convention later this week, but it is unclear if she will still do so in light of her decision to step down.

I can't help thinking that Ms Conway was given the option "Jump or be pushed", and jumping is quieter....

All over just a mere very few years! Sadly, she looks to have very visibly unnaturally been aged whilst working for Trump:

Is this where all the good people escape a Trumped demise?

All only in the USA...

And yet another thing for which the Trump has no good answer:

Donald Trump's sister says he's an 'unprincipled phoney'

Is that another one of Trump's "It is what it is" type of uncaring 'who cares'?...

All only in the USA?

Speaking on the final night of the Republican convention, the president depicted his opponent as "the destroyer of American greatness".
It looks like Americans don't need any Nitrous Oxide while the King is in the White Counting House. :-)

Jesus with his gold crown
...

And resplendent with a fake-golden-facepaint-tan, even though showing deathly pale fingers. Added for special effect: A cartoon-perfect hair piece.

All just for show?

For the greatest showman ever??

Scary.

Aside: He really does look like he is leaning heavily on the lectern for support and stability. Are they specially reinforced for him?

In the print edition, you see all the golden eagles on the flag staffs in the foreground (close to camera, below this frame). Nasty reminder of something-or-other.

Edit - found another version of the image, showing the point I was trying to make.

Mmmmm... Oh dear...

Well described, harking back to deadly dark times.

Would the Trump campaign really deliberately stir up Jingoism - and the consequences be damned...?!

All deadly desperate to fracture the USA?
