I so hope this exists! https://nypost.com/2020/05/19/nasa-finds-evidence-of-parallel-universe-where-time-runs-backward-report NASA scientists detect evidence of parallel universe where time runs backward. In a scenario straight out of “The Twilight Zone,†a group of NASA scientists working on an experiment in Antarctica have detected evidence of a parallel universe — where the rules of physics are the opposite of our own, according to a report. The concept of a parallel universe has been around since the early 1960s, mostly in the minds of fans of sci-fi TV shows and comics, but now a cosmic ray detection experiment has found particles that could be from a parallel realm that also was born in the Big Bang, the Daily Star reported. |

Yep to good to be true! https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2020/05/27/fact-check-nasa-did-not-find-parallel-universe/5254557002/ Fact check: No, NASA did not find a parallel universe The claim: NASA recently discovered a parallel universe where the laws of physics are “reversed,†and time flows backward The internet was briefly captivated by the idea of parallel universes and other cosmic oddities after reports circulated that NASA had detected “evidence of parallel universe where time runs backward.†|

And the New York Post sources the story to the British tabloid the Daily Star - not normally regarded as one of our more reliable sources, to put it mildly. And yet... The basic claim in the Daily Star is this: That means that high energy particles can only be detected coming “down†from outer space. To detect a heavier particle – a tau neutrino – coming “up†out of the Earth would imply that these particles are actually travelling backwards in time.I've read that story about heavy particles being detected "coming up" before - and I don't normally read the tabloids, certainly not for science. My most likely source is either the Guardian or (serious) British magazine 'New Scientist'. I have the back numbers - I'll try and find it. And I also have subscriber access to their index search. Strange particles found in Antarctica cannot be explained by physics (14 January 2020) We may have spotted a parallel universe going backwards in time (8 April 2020) I'll dig them out. Edit - the April article ends: Meanwhile, the focus is returning to the Antarctic, and the possibility of capturing more massive particles as they explode from the ground. It has been three years since ANITA’s fourth flight descended softly to the ice, and an analysis of the latest data is still in the making.A work in progress. |

Ricard, the issue with that is non-scientists don't realize that neutrinos will pass completely through earth, so up is a permitted direction. |

There is no UP nor DOWN--How do it know ? |

There is no UP nor DOWN--How do it know ?In quarks there is. Also top and bottom. |

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quark And not any relativistic effects here either. Thank you for the suggestion here, because it wakened me up a little here, for also needing to check. Show me the direction, for only leading my way, and I could be still just flying for only the time and space it still could be, for not any given future either. |

Ricard, the issue with that is non-scientists don't realize that neutrinos will pass completely through earth, so up is a permitted direction. The people who wrote the New Scientist article are well aware of that. neutrinos. Owing to their lack of charge, these tiny particles are unswayed by magnetic fields, and zip through space in straight lines. As a consequence, locating the origin of a neutrino – and that of any cosmic rays generated in tandem – is simply a matter of extrapolating its trajectory backwards from its point of impact. And that is where ANITA comes in. |
