Most shift workers do not work 24 hour shifts. So this study is only about a very small section of society, and therefore cannot be applied across the board. |

Most shift workers do not work 24 hour shifts. For that one study, very true. That study also highlights how the non-24hours schedules that such as lorry drivers, delivery drivers, and airline crew suffer can be very not-healthy... However, that study I think is more to highlight how better eating and a better schedule for eating can greatly benefit those people. There are multiple other studies that show that various arrangements of 'intermittent' fasting greatly improves overall health. (Note that the 'fasting' doesn't necessarily mean going hungry...) There is also a recurring theme that living sympathetically with our circadian rhythms is good for health overall. And that's something well worthwhile to follow up on... Stay healthy! Long long overdue... CVS and Walgreens agree to pay $10bn to settle opioids lawsuits wrote: Two of America's biggest pharmacies have agreed to pay more than $10bn [$10,000 Million] to resolve thousands of lawsuits over their roles in the US opioid crisis. BUT... How much deadly profits have been made on that deadly disaster? How much deadly profit is still being made?? Any jail time for the corporate addiction pushers?... Incredible. Yes the sliminess of some countries is beyond belief as well. Russia, China block plans for Antarctic marine protections. |

If you can get to it. an article on 'scary chemicals' in foods. Thanks for that one. Indeed scary... ... All succinctly summed up with: ... Does all this mean that regulators like the EFSA and the FSA have got it wrong on food additives? No, Dr Touvier says. They do a good job but can’t always keep pace with the science, especially in the new and fast-moving field of gut microbiome research. Just as worrying is that no-one really knows the extent of the additives we are consuming. Stay healthy folks! We're certainly being slimed by global fossil fuel companies and it has to stop. Will global energy giants continue to get their own way as Australian gas prices soar even higher? ...Soaring gas prices — particularly on the east coast — have severely curbed the viability of many of our biggest manufacturers, wreaked havoc on electricity costs and added to the inflationary bonfire sweeping the country. It's about time that these greedy mobsters were brought to heel as they're the mob that's driving worldwide inflation right now. |

Here down under Gas giants are threatening to decamp after a move to cap prices, but to where? They can leave anytime they like IMHO as we're done with their ripoffs. |

Here's an 'interesting' move slowly but hopefully towards less pollution: 3M manufacturing giant to stop making 'forever chemicals' wrote: Manufacturing giant 3M has said it will stop making and using so-called "forever chemicals", common materials that have been linked to a range of health problems including cancer...
