How do we create a new team? I am offered to join an existing team but there is no functionality enabling to create a new one?

This is an old answer so I quote:

Click COMMUNITY on the black bar at the top .... of this page and select the Teams link.

Just to add: When on the teams page you will find "Create Team" at the bottom left of the page.
