Was a fan of having seti at home as far back as the beginning of the program. Just recently saw that it was still alive and kicking. Downloaded the app from seti@home; let it run overnight. Came into the home/office and discovered my iMac has crashed; and wants to send a report to Apple.

Why don't you guys just run this up the pole at the Apple app store?

It doesn't put trust in my mind that an app downloaded from a university/independent site starts to cause crashing after installing it. I'm not a computer scientist, but I know what a successful and trusted experience is, and this app seems to be more beta than functional. It never showed the nice graphics seen on your website.
