Reminds me of the old classic comment: YouTube: Why the UK is in the EU
Hehe:) Reminds me of this. Yes Minister explains the EEC (EU) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvYuoWyk8iU

Thank you Mr Drunker. We're out on 31/10/19 regardless.

Juncker rules out Brexit extension
The President of the European Commission rules out granting an extension to the Brexit deadline of 31 October.
Jean-Claude Juncker tells reporters there is no need for an extension now there is a deal on the table.

Deal reached but DUP refuses support
Well done DUP for backing Mr Drunker up. :-)

So this is the final countdown?
That depends on the House of Commons on Saturday, and the courts on Monday. And probably much else besides.

Neither the commentariat nor the vox pops have fallen silent over here.

Boris said "Jean-Claude is the boss here" at the press conference today:)
https://www.svt.se/nyheter/utrikes/brexitavtal-klart-mellan-storbritannien-och-eu
But The BBC contradicts Boris:

The prime minister has repeatedly insisted the UK will leave the EU on 31 October - he could yet be forced to ask for an extension but it will be up to the leaders of the 27 member states - not Jean-Claude Juncker - whether to grant one.

Last time it was a Super Saturday was in 1982!
Ah, yes - the Falklands 'war'. Certain flag wavers remember it well - our last flourish of colonialism. (until Gibraltar wakes up)

Perhaps a recap of what the EU is before Saturday could help.

No way that the British Parliament will vote "YES" for this deal either.

They all want no deal, just too afraid to say it out loud.

Yes votes to the amendment A and the Speaker again screams "ORDER!"
With the votes 322 yes, 306 no.
More delays again and Boris Jonson have to write a letter to the EU that he doesn't want to do...
Some wants a new referendum but that's not very likely to happen.

The BBC is reporting that he's sent two letters - one in the official, legal, form of words: but unsigned.

And a second, signed (presumably the one you've shown): contradicting the first.

Presumably the EU will retire to its bed with a headache.

Oh dear...
In addition to that letter, he should also have sent another letter stating that the postponement is a mistake.
Shortly after 23, Swedish time, EU Permanent Council President Donald Tusk confirmed that he had received the letter.
“The extension request has just arrived. I will now consult EU leaders on what the reaction will be like, ”Tusk writes on Twitter. https://twitter.com/eucopresident/status/1185661904427143171?s=20
