I don’t think Ash counts. He was a android and was terminated with extreme prejudice by the crew. So it would be five that died.

Doing laundry. I like the fix the service guy did to one of the washing machines. He had trouble replacing a quarter slot money switch.

He got it in and working. Now the washer has a slight problem. He made putting quarters in it voluntarily. You can put your money in or not. If money is tight for the month. Just forget the quarters and slide the rail in and out. Free washing. The driers are pay only. So not a problem. As far as I’m concerned. I just consider it a perk if you need it. Especially those on a fixed income.

An Ancient Computer Language Is Slowing America’s Giant Stimulus

* Unemployment systems run spaghetti code that’s hard to change
* Pandemic, economic shock expose shortage of COBOL programmers

... The Covid-19 pandemic has exposed aging, inflexible computer systems at the heart of the U.S. economy -- and a shortage of experts to fix the problem. This is slowing the government’s effort to get billions of dollars in stimulus checks to millions of newly unemployed citizens.

“The good news is that, as I recall, COBOL wasn’t one of the more difficult languages,” he said. “I’m sure some of these younger kids could figure it out.”

Oops! Garbage in Garbage out!
Some residents got water bills over $1 million in this Fort Worth-area city

When Courtney Mitchell opened her water bill earlier this week and saw the jaw-dropping amount of $3.1 million, she did a double-take.

“I started laughing, and showed a picture of it to my husband,” she said

However, Mitchell said the error is a serious issue that she can’t take lightly.

Mitchell’s bill was corrected to $105, but she is still unhappy with the city, saying the rates are higher than they should be.

... When the information was sent to Munibilling some of the readings showed the decimal point in the wrong place,

The Australian government is planning on releasing an App to track people in case of community transmission of the Coronavirus after the present restrictions are relaxed. Naturally, everyine is creaming about personal privacy etc. There was one post to a blog that sums u my thoughts perfectly.

So if I accept Facebook and Google tracking me so intimately to feed their profit margins, how could I be opposed to letting my own country in on that data for a while too. It’s for a FAR better reason, to minimise the spread of coronavirus and to save the lives of the people I may infect if I catch it. So I put it to all Aussies: if you’re a genuinely privacy conscious person who turned off all those settings that I didn’t bother with, then I 100% respect your values. But for every other person in this country, don’t choose this moment to defend your privacy when you’ve never cared before.
(added Italics for emphasis).

Yes.
I haven't seen any sign posts like "Welcome to Hell" though...

For an English reader, it's easy to mis-read that as 'Goods - expedition'. And to us, 'Gods' means something - very different.

Hehe:) It's also very odd when that "ekspedisjon" is spelled "expedition" like in Swedish. Oh. Now I get nervous...
