From time to time it happens that the S@H task never ends. In the BOINC client I see, that there is no progress for the task. Estimated time to the end is, for example, 60 days, while there is only 10 days for deadline. I have to handle it manually.

One of such tasks is here: https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/result.php?resultid=7032424864

You can see that there was some error during the calculation, but the task can't finish its action.

Additional strange facts:
My computer is equipped both with Intel GPU and with nVidia but this tasks utilizes only iGPU
I also participate in other projects where there are tasks using the GPU. There are never such problems.

Hi, u have to set Nvidia GPU here and disable Intel Igpu who makes your CPU crunching longer ;)

Once a task has started on a particular type of processor it cannot move onto another type. Thus task that starts on an Intel gpu it will not try to use an AMD or nVidia gpu.
Secondly many of the Intel integrated gpus are very poor computational proccessors. The general advise for "older" ones is not to use them.

I unchecked "Use ATI graphics card" and left "Use nVidia graphics card" checked.
I'll see how this will affect the efficiency of calculations.

Thanks for advice. :-)

Small correction: I unchecked option for using Intel GPU. Both ATI and nVidia GPU are checked.

As you don't appear to have an AMD GPU you might as well un-check that as well

I know but AFAIK these are global options. Maybe one day I will use a different computer with such a card.

You can set up to four different "environments", so it is possible to have some of your computers in, say, the "home" environment with just the CPU running, others in "school" with the CPU plus AMD & nVidia GPUs....
