Looked good for a second then I tried to set all the GPU to max perf and things started getting sluggish...

Hmm.

Check something for me. I’m wondering if you’re having the same PCIe issue that I was having.

Go to /var/log/ and open the syslog or kern.log files.

Take a pic of it and send it to me.

Impossible to take a pic of either. They are both many pages long.

Does it have the same error over and over? I just want to see what the error is. Doesn’t matter if I see the whole log. I just want to see the error that’s being spammed in the log. Just a sample.

Hold on then. You want to see the end of the log then? The bottom lines?

Got the email. That is not the same error I was seeing.

So something is definitely off here. Either you have a bad motherboard or bad risers. I’ve seen all kinds of weird problems on my mining machines from bad risers. Almost always is the USB cable itself being faulty. Not the riser board.

That might be it. I have a lot of spares so lets see if I can clear all these bad ones before I try boinc.
