I think that the weather will play a big part in this test match Rob. ;-) Cheers. |

Well a different type of heat is now on in the brewroom this morning in preparation for a very long day busting down my spirit wash before the next batch of beer is ready to bottle and if I'm really lucky I'll get a mow in between the 2. Cheers. |

Well that was the lowest amount of 40% spirit that I got out of a wash in a long time (14.5L out of a 50L wash), I guess that I will have to break down and just buy another heater mat. The weather here has not been the best for heat unassisted brewing, and it's suppose to be summertime. :-O The beer brew is currently on the only mat that I have left and beer is more important than the spirits. ;-) Cheers. |

Not again. :-O Brisbane’s XXXX brewery underwater as flooding hits Queensland. Thankfully I don't drink the stuff. ;-) Cheers. |

That'll make it improved then for a few weeks until the flood flavour has flushed through the pipes to back the usual dilutedness... Enjoy? See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

The heat is back on again in my brewroom as I prepare 16kg of sugar for another spirit wash. Cheers. |

Well the heat is on again in the brewroom as I process that spirit wash which I got going last week. Cheers. |

With no interruptions so far here today the heat is back on in my brewroom as I get another beer brew started off. Cheers. |

While it's not so crash hot outside here today the heat is on again in the brewroom as I boil the water to sterilise the bottles in to bottle last week's brew into. Cheers. |

All I need is a few kilos of honey and a bit of time then mead will be forthcoming. To that end, Martin, keep an eye on your bees and their output ;-) Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Mmmm, too warm and busy to try that at the moment... ... keep an eye on your bees and their output... A friend has a good few to spare from some roof space being buzzed...! Enjoy! Martin See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Finally things have aligned and the brewroom is about to see action (when I finish this coffee) with both a beer and spirit brew being put down today. Cheers. |

I got my beer brew down without any interruptions, but I only got halfway through the spirit wash when mates started to turn up though it did eventually get done as well. ;-) Cheers. |

Enjoy it Mike. ;-) Anyhow I just sealed up my 2 kits as they certainly did a good out gassing job overnight with the air here is heavily scented by yeast farts ATM. Cheers. |

I've finally warmed up enough now to get the heat on in my brewroom so bottling beer will get done today, but whether I get another started today will be another story. Cheers. |
