UV Flame Sensor? Not my wording lol but.. Fire detection is based on various properties of fire such as smoke emission, a rise in temperature and optical radiation emission.. Such types of detection are based on radiation produced by the flames in visible (Vis), ultraviolet (UV) or infrared (IR).? |

UV Flame Sensor? Not wrong, but not what I was thinking, it is purpose built part of an assembly and has a very specific (safety related) function to perform, which obviously has something to do with fire/no fire. |
