Is there any way to run SETI/BOINC on only "one" cpu (I'm on a PIV 2.8(800) HT).

It is gobbling away both cpus, leaving F@H to get nearly nothing.

Change your settings on the web site to use only 1 CPU. It will take some time to take effect since the currently active workunit(s) will have to finish.
