Malaysia's government said Saturday that it has approved a new attempt by a private company to find the wreckage of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, nearly four years after its disappearance sparked one of aviation's biggest mysteries. The Houston, Texas-based company Ocean Infinity dispatched a search vessel this past week to look in the southern Indian Ocean for debris from the plane, which disappeared March 8, 2014, on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 227 passengers and 12 crew members. A lot of experts around the world reckon that the new search area will prove to be the correct 1 based on better information gathered since the original search was finished. Cheers. |

I wish them success but I still think finding the plane will be harder than finding a needle in a haystack. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. This no longer applies in light of current events. |

A Texas company will search for 70 million. The government signed a "no cure, no fee" deal with the Houston, Texas-based company to resume the hunt for the plane, a year after the official search by Malaysia, Australia and China in the southern Indian Ocean was called off. The plane vanished on March 8, 2014, while flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 people on board. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/malaysia-airlines-flight-370-search-70-million-wreckage-ocean-infinity/ |

In this case, don't you think that the "sighs" win hands down? Or do you think that fake news is okay regardless of those 239 people who perished? |

MH370 hunt throws up clues to 19th century mysteries. A four-year search of the depths of the Indian Ocean has failed to find Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. But the unprecedented sonar hunt for the missing airliner might be close to solving 19th century mysteries — the locations of two sailing ships that vanished with cargos of coal.At least some mysteries are being solved. Cheers. |

Thanks Wiggo, for the article. Hard to believe it's 4 years since it went missing. :( I want the plane found, because it has to be. The World, needs the plane found. The theories that are out there are many, and need to be put to rest. |

Thanks Wiggo, for the article. Hard to believe it's 4 years since it went missing. :( If it is found there will simply be more different theories. |

Well the debate goes on, MH370 not deliberately crashed by pilot, say investigators, only finding it may prove who's right. Cheers. |

MH370: Four-year hunt ends after private search is completed The four-year hunt for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 has ended with the latest, privately funded search coming to a close. US-based Ocean Infinity had been using a deep-sea vessel to survey a vast area of the southern Indian Ocean. But it found nothing and Malaysia's government says it has no plans to begin any new searches. The plane disappeared on 8 March 2014 while flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 people on board. Official search efforts ended last year and there are still fierce debates about what happened to the flight. |

The Australian Transport Safety Board found that no one was in control of the aircraft at the time it ditched because it hit the ocean at very high speed. This is evidenced by the flaperon found on Mauritius which showed trailing edge shredding consistent with high speed airflow. This does not mean the crash was not deliberate. Shah likely made his turn around Sumatra and then died of hypoxia. The aircraft continued on its own until it ran out of fuel far to the south. |
