and it isn't actually medical, that was just the closest compared to food/washing that had been guessed.

MacGyver, as in the TV show, no. Put together hunk of parts, yes, but it isn't a one off.

I think they actually buy stock pots and weld on the bottoms, drill a hole for the shaft for the blades and weld on the hold downs - jeep hood latches.
