Yawn! Picked up My prescription renewals and My mail, can't wait for the 1st to get here, until then I'm almost broke again. Glad I don't have a VW Diesel... aka a Gross Polluter... Smog test for My car in August, then pay the registration in September. Savoir-Faire is everywhere! The T1 Trust, T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, America's First HST |

My Audi (VW) cost me just over $20k, gave me 50-60 mpg in comfort with very reasonable performance and was bought back 6 years latter by VW as part of the class action for a little over $18k, plus they gave me a free $1,000 credit card and $5,000 cash for my trouble. I was very glad that I had a VW diesel. |

Yawn! Picked up My prescription renewals and My mail, can't wait for the 1st to get here, until then I'm almost broke again. Yeah, well I own a 1999 Ford Escort zx2 Sport Hot Coupe, that gets Me 33mpg, and it is paid for, sure the a/c only partly works, and I used the car in 106F temps to pick up My prescription pills today, tach says about 2,500rpm @ 70mph, pills are for high blood pressure and cholesterol, paid for by Medi-Cal(Medicaid outside of California). I do have more than a few things to install in My car: new rear struts, speedo/tach assembly, music interface box(can't remember the name), adjustable steering column, new brake parts(can't hurt), get someone to glue down the weatherstripping for My drivers window w/adhesive, but at least it otherwise runs like a top, not bad for 135hp. Smog might cost $50, DMV? $98.00. And yes the car needs a wash job inside and out, but that is not something I can do now, maybe in November. I don't get enough, yet some say My benefits are too generous, total BS... Savoir-Faire is everywhere! The T1 Trust, T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, America's First HST |

I got my car washed before driving to Indiana last week. There's a place near me where the most basic no-frills wash is only $3. It's the best way to get the dead bugs off the windshield. Here the minimum for a car wash is $10, though no one gets their car washed in temps above 85F or so, since the glass might crack, but then the water is fairly cold around here. I did yesterday get rid of about 6 boxes, a tube, and a bag of trash, I used the car to transport the stuff to the trash bin, bag in the trunk, the rest on the wing, and I've got more to throw out, nearly a whole room full. Thankfully the temp had not gotten to 90F yet. Next a useless desktop ATX/micro-ATX case goes, it's not worth a penny either. Savoir-Faire is everywhere! You're getting very sleepy, sleepy... Not enough. It took about another four hours from when I said, aided by a good slug of rum. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |
