It's just arranged so that ministers, preachers and priests can suck tax free donations from the gullible by their own interpretations of hypocritical writings. :-(

perhaps a non-christian view https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_and_abortion and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hinduism_and_abortion provides the necessary insight to interpretations.

Michigan legislature passes bill overturning 1931 abortion ban.

The Michigan legislature has voted to repeal a nearly century-old law criminalizing abortion.

The Michigan Senate passed HB 4006 on Wednesday, which revokes the 1931 ban on abortion, less than a week after it passed the state House on March 2.

The bill, which is just a single sentence, now heads to the desk of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, who is expected to sign it into law.

Specifically, the bill repeals Section 750.14, which makes it a felony -- punishable by up to four years in prison and/or a fine of up to $5,000 -- to administer drugs that induce a miscarriage unless the mother's life is in danger.

It also repeals Section 750.15, which makes it a misdemeanor to advertise, publish, or sell "any pills, powder, drugs or combination of drugs" that can cause an abortion.

The bills were passed in both chambers largely on party lines, with the vote passing in the Senate 20-18 and 58-50 in the House last week, with two Republicans joining all 56 Democrats....

It's a fact, there's no such thing as "freedom of choice" in the U.S. as hypocritical MAGA RINO morons are trying to prove.

Will anybody stop that Trump judge from banning abortion pills?

And then there's this moron.

These arn't judges when they let their own personal beliefs override legal and moral ethics.

A Red State’s Anti-Abortion Judges Just Made a Chilling Declaration of Their True Beliefs.

......In Oklahoma, a recent set of chilling dissents from right-leaning justices shamelessly lays plain how the anti-abortion movement justifies its assault on pregnant people’s right to life.

The dissents come from the Oklahoma Supreme Court, which ruled 5–4 this week that the state’s near-total abortion ban must include an exception for cases in which there is “a reasonable degree of medical certainty or probability” that a pregnancy would endanger a patient’s life, whether due to a current medical condition or to one that would likely arise later in the pregnancy. Previously, the justices explained in their ruling, Oklahoma law only allowed exceptions when patients were “in actual and present danger.”

This ruling will hopefully provide clarity to doctors and save some patients from undue suffering and mortal peril. But to the four Republican-appointed conservatives who dissented from the majority ruling, the question of whether women should be forced to risk their lives—for a fetus that, in many cases, would stand no chance of survival outside the womb—shouldn’t have been any of their business.

“The Oklahoma Constitution, as currently worded, does no expressed or hiddent [sic] establish a fundamental abortion right under any circumstance. Any change to that status quo must come from the people or their elected representatives,” writes Chief Justice M. John Kane IV in his dissent.

On the surface, such a proclamation seems sensible and straightforward. But in the context of an abortion ban exception to preserve a patient’s life, Kane’s argument takes on a new tenor. If a patient does not have the right to abortion under any circumstance, unless the privilege is granted to her by the people and their legislators, the people and their legislators could legally force her to die....
These people are nothing but sickos.

U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk, a Trump appointee, ordered a hold on federal approval of mifepristone in a decision that overruled decades of scientific approval. But that decision came at nearly same time that U.S. District Judge Thomas O. Rice, an Obama appointee, essentially ordered the opposite and directed U.S. authorities not to make any changes that would restrict access to the drug in at least 17 states where Democrats sued in an effort to protect availability.

DeSantis knows his 6-week abortion ban could come back to haunt him — that's why he's doing it under the radar.

When Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis enacted a 15-week abortion ban for people who are pregnant in April 2022, it was to much fanfare, with the governor surrounded by supporters and television crews.

"This will represent the most significant protection for life in this state in a generation," Florida's governor said at the time.

Soon after, in June 2022, the US Supreme Court allowed his 15-week abortion ban to go through after it overturned the Roe v. Wade decision that granted federal protections for people in the US seeking an abortion.

A year later, when approving an even more restrictive abortion ban — this one limiting professionals from performing the procedure to six weeks of gestation — DeSantis signed the bill in the dead of night, away from the media and spotlight.

The 15-week abortion ban is still heading before the Florida Supreme Court, and if it's struck down, the six-week ban won't go into effect either.

DeSantis is expected to announce a run for president in the coming months. The Republican Party's platform is widely supportive of restricting access to abortion. So why didn't the governor arrange a similar spectacle when signing it into law instead, instead assembling only a small group and putting out a press release near midnight?.....

Well she not wrong there.

Mace says overturning Roe ‘changed the entire electoral environment’ in 2022.

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) on Sunday said the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and let individual states legislate abortion “changed the entire electoral environment” in the 2022 midterms.

“Even though I’m pro-life, I represent a pro-choice district, and I saw the tide change after Roe was overturned. We went [from being] mildly pro-choice to … [a] vast majority of voters being pro-choice after Roe v. Wade. It changed the entire electoral environment in ’22,” Mace said on “Fox News Sunday.”

Mace also said Republicans lost seats they should have won last November and raised concerns that members of the GOP “have not learned our lesson from the midterm election.”

“I mean, some of these groups have gotten so over-the-top and extreme, we need to find a middle ground on this issue. And I have a great pro-life voting record but some of the stances we’ve taken, especially when it comes to rape and incest, protecting the life of a mother, it’s so extreme, the middle — the independent voters, right of center, left of center, they cannot support us,” Mace said....

Donny sure knows how to pick the crooks.

Trump judge behind abortion pill ban accused of hiding information from Senate investigators.

Prior to his Senate hearings after Donald Trump nominated him to a lifetime appointment to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, then-lawyer Matthew Kacsmaryk asked that his name be stripped off of a controversial law review article he reportedly wrote that could haveled to his nomination being rejected.

According to a report from the Washington Post, Kacsmaryk, who was working for the far-right First Liberty Institute at the time, contacted an editor about the article that was eventually published in September of 2017 by the Texas Review of Law and Politics, and asked that his name be removed and two of his colleagues be given credit.

According to the report, that unusual request was met with a question of why, to which the attorney only offered a cryptic response of, "reasons I may discuss at a later date.".....

More comes to light on rogue anti-abortion judge.

Just like Clarence, I expect more to come out about Matty the unsuitable.

Could be problems building up in states that ban abortions, due to a steep drop in OB/GYN residency applicants. Some women who miscarry need exactly the same treatment and drugs as used in performing abortions.
