What needs looking after? Maybe a camera pointed at your beer fridge? |

Now that could be an idea, but no I installed that system at someone else's place Admiral. ;-) Anyhow, seeing that it's Good Friday here, I'll be doing a trip into town before heading out west to Inverell to do a bit of shopping and I'll hopefully be home by lunchtime. Cheers. |

Anyhow, seeing that it's Good Friday here, I keep thinking of Easter everytime you say that, Wiggo. I can't decide between going out for a coffee this evening or a Guinness. I think I might do both, and throw in a Scotch egg, too. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

G'morning everyone, from sunny morning (now the the fog has left) in the highlands down under, but that's expected to change by LLB. I always like to have a long weekend every 2 weeks Gordon. ;-) Well I my old Q6600 crunching again late last night and I have to drop off another repaired PC this morning as well as installing a wi-fi extender at the top pub which means that I'll be at the right place for today's Beer O'clock. Anyhow I better finish this coffee and get to it. Cheers. |

I might say that sounds like a good idea Wiggo. Mine are 7 days off each week and I take a trip when the weather is nice to the Dollar store for dog food and my beer shop too. LOL yesterday was really warm hitting 87ºF looks like one today too. Question Wiggo. the first alc you take off the top but you might use it in your truck?? Cheers everybody Life is short so don't sip Beer speaks, people mumble |

G'morning everyone, from a cool and cloudy start in the highlands down under. Yes I do save that methanol/ethanol mix that comes off the top Grant and I use for cleaning purposes only (I already use 95 octane E-10 in my wagon anyway). Well yesterday that WiFi extender didn't work as intended and the silly little quick start guide that came with it was totally useless so last night I downloaded the full 160 page manual for it, which I'll get around to reading sooner or later, but today I have to drop my wagon down the hill for its annual service and road worthy check then I'm off to install another surveillance camera setup. Now that being an 8 camera setup (instead of the usual 4) may delay Beer O'clock here today, but hopefully not by too much, so I'll have 1 more coffee before I get started. Anyhow, keep your beers close and cold. Cheers. |

Years ago we had one gas company had 10 blends I think it was 90 to 110 octane if I remember right the stock car drivers would pull into the station on Friday nights and buy the 110 octane (costly but works) Beer is cooling after this hot day again. |

G'morning everyone, from an A.N.Z.A.C. Day in the highlands down under. After doing the Dawn Service and just coming back from the morning march I'm ready to do something, I just have to find that something. Back in the day Grant when I owned 1 of these, and because of the 11.5 to 1 slugs used in the rebuild of the engine, I use to go down to the local oil refinery to fill up the 32imp gallon (144L) tank with a 50/50 mix of avgas 115 and the leaded super of the day to stop pinging or if I was somewhere where I could only get super then there was a 5L container under the bonnet that was filled with 3L of methylated spirits topped off with water that supplied an injection unit fitted under the carby to stop the ping (but I'd lose 50bhp at the rear wheels using it). Anyhow, seeing that Beer O'clock is still a while off, I'll get myself another coffee and work out finding that something. Cheers. |

Wiggo, are those cameras you got hard wired ? I bought some one time that weren't but they were junk. I then bought hard wire and a recorder which was just fine but the recorder would only handle 4 camera's. I didn't like the VCR, but the next year they had color and low light. we was broke into so many times but we finally got the sucker. I was managing a 3 floor complex with 33 units. I could have used 8 for sure. Beer O'clock here Cheers everybody Life is short so don't sip Beer speaks, people mumble |

G'morning everyone, from a cool, windy, but sunny start in the highlands down under (not bad for P.O.E.T.S. Day). Yes Grant they're hardwired and the best part of that installation was that 7 cameras were already there to start with (left behind by the previous management) so I only had to hang up 1 more (leaving a hand full of spares). No VCR is used either as all cameras record to the internal hard drive (which I had to install) and if there's an incident the cops just have to bring their own thumb drive along to download the required footage. I'm just waiting for 1 laptop to turn here this morning for maintenance (it should be here any minute now, hopefully) and that should be out of the way (depending on how many updates it needs) well before Beer O'clock gets here in 3hrs time. Anyhow, I'm going to make another cup of coffee while I'm waiting. Cheers. |

Today I had a pint of APA, American Pale Ale. Quite nice really. Almost like IPA, Indian Pale Ale. Well I said it was almost like IPA... |

My last recorder had a hard drive but you could use two if needed. Cheers everybody Life is short so don't sip Beer speaks, people mumble |

My last recorder had a hard drive but you could use two if needed.Yes an external hard drive can also be connected it and 1 has to be used on the smaller 4 camera versions if you want more than 24hrs of recording time. The hardest part of these setups is actually configuring the email notification and remote access facilities. Cheers. |

I've never figured how to record with mine. It has a nice motion sensitive system, and it's supposed to record onto my computer's hard drive, but I haven't had any success with that. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |
