Must be from when Scotland and Sweden was allies fighting in Germany in the 30 year war.I think it refers back to the (first) English invasion of Scotland (1298) under the command of King Edward the First of England (Edward Longshanks). The Scots have long memories. ID: 1871634 · |

Today was not exactly what you would call fun. Yesterday was rather less so. If I say polyethylene glycol-electrolyte solution, does that give anyone a hint what I was doing? [edit] Before I did that yesterday, I went to the bank and paid off the last few hundred bucks on my car loan. I am now at my lowest debt level in probably 20 years or more. Poly-ethylene-glycol (PEG) should never be confused with ethylene glycerol. Ethylene glycol (EG) is frequently used in automotive anti-freeze, and is toxic PEG is a polymer made from EG, and has a wide range of uses, including anti-foam in soft drinks and "texturing" soft drinks - it is classified as "safe" when used as a food additive, but in bulk quantities the lower molecular weight polymers are toxic. EG is a liquid, PEG ranges from a viscous liquid to a waxy solid depending on its molecular weight. I had my last colonoscopy the end of March, no polyps and I choose to not have anesthesia. Fascinating to watch on the large color monitor. Too bad they didn't make a DVD. ID: 1871770 · |

Okay, so everyone seems to have figured it out. They removed four small polyps and some samples for biopsy. No results of analyses yet. When I got my results they had removed an alleged polyp that turned out to be a piece of broccoli. Almost 4 more years until my next one.
